My skincare products penetrate my skin better with the dead skin cells out of the way so I love using this product a few times a week to keep my skin flake free and glowy.

This scrub sloughs off my dead skin cells with both chemical and physical exfoliants and gets my skin ready for serums and moisturiser. This scrub leaves my skin feeling soft, supple and smooth. I have to splash the face a few times with water to thoroughly cleanse off the scrub. I gently massage the scrub over my face for a gentle exfoliation and wash off with water. Upon contact with my wet skin, the scrub warms up which I think is because of the bicarbonate in the scrub. I want the chemical defoliants to get in and loosen the dead skin cells before I scrub. I do this because the scrub contains a lot of really nice ingredients such as aha, bha, vit a and e. I just wet my face and apply a pea sized amount of the thermafoliant to my nose and mouth area (areas that are flaky and peely) and let the scrub soak in to my skin for a few seconds. The thermafoliant is yellowish and thick in consistency with gritty micro granules. The squishy tube makes it easy to dispense the product and keeps the product fresh till the last drop. The Multivitamin Thermafoliant comes in a squishy silver tube with a grey flip-tab lid. I'm just addicted to how soft and supple this makes my skin. This is a must have scrub in my skincare routine and I use it 2-3 times a week to give my skin a thorough exfoliation. All the dead skin cells are scrubbed off revealing fresh, new baby bottom soft skin and I love it. Wow my skin instantly feels soft and supple and the dullness is gone. I scrub for about 45 seconds before letting the scrub sit on my skin for a few minutes to let the chemical exfoliants do its job before rinsing it all away. I apply the thermafoliant scrub to damp skin and start gently scrubbing away dead skin cells. Ahhh love this especially it the winter months when its so cold and I don't want to be bothered with staying in my bathroom any longer than I have to. But the most amazing thing is that this scrub warms up on contact when I apply this to my face. The name is apt because this scrub has a bunch of amazing ingredients like Vitamin A, aha and bha. I was intrigued by the name of the scrub - multivitamin thermafoliant. I received this face scrub in a gift bag at a David Jones event.

Dermalogica are very generous with samples. Best tip: if you're not sure whether this might work for you, ask for a sample. This is one of those staples in my bathroom cabinet because it's just so effective. I have drier skin and do need to moisturise well after using this, though I don't think say it made my skin drier overall. It actually lasts quite a long time because you need very little to feel the effect and in my opinion is great value for money. When first massaged in, it becomes slightly warm - I'm not sure this is all that important but not a bad thing on a cold winter morning. It makes your skin feel super clean & gently scrubbed and incredibly smooth. If your skin is sensitive, apply to wet skin. Best if you apply it to dry skin and massage it in gently just before a shower, then continue massaging while you rinse off with water. The consistency is like more like a thicker gel than a cream. It has chemical exfoliants, including AHA, BHA and even retinol in the formula - but it's the fine micro crystals which seem so effective. This is the most effective exfoliant I've ever tried. I really feel that it helps to purge all the clogged pores and helps to keep congestion at bay. This is a really thick formula so a little goes a long way and becomes economical in the long run. This exfoliator does not dry my face as it has some skin loving oils in it which leaves your face moisturised and supple after using it. I use it as a quick pick me up before an event to give my face a smooth surface. Whenever I use it my skin feels baby smooth and following days after I fell that my skin brightens up. The scent of this product is to die for, it smells herbal and I absolutely enjoy using it, it gives such an experience as if I am having a facial at a spa. The best thing about this Multivitamin Thermofoliant is that it has chemical exfoliators in it as well it has some scrubby particles in it which makes it a physical exfoliant too. As the name suggests it is a thermal product that warms up when it mixes it water. A favourite product of mine for a long time.
